One in custody after stabbing in Oklahoma City metro
OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - Tiffany Herrera received an unsettling phone call early Tuesday morning. One of her employees, working at the Golden Burrito Food Truck parked near MacArthur Blvd. and Reno Ave., was attacked.
Herrera said the incident happened around 6:45 a.m., while her employee was helping other customers.
“He stabbed her from the back. He was trying to do it multiple times,” said Herrera.
The employee was taken to the hospital. A spokesman for the Oklahoma City Police Department said her injuries are not life threatening.
“She was stabbed once in the back, but she's really scared,” said Herrera.
Herrera told KFOR the suspect was lurking around the area on Monday too.
"He was like, ‘Oh, give me food, give me money,’” said Herrera.
After Tuesday’s incident, the suspect ran away. However, OKCPD confirmed he was later tracked down and taken into custody. It’s not clear what charges he’s facing.
