4Warn Storm Team tracking winter weather moving into Oklahoma
OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - The 4Warn Storm Team is keeping an eye on winter winter moving across Oklahoma.
According to KFOR Meteorologist Emily Sutton, the state can expect extreme cold Tuesday. Sleet and snow can be expected as the day goes on.
Sutton predicts sleet to blowing snow, falling temperatures and below zero wind chills.
Officials are reminding residents to be prepared if traveling in Oklahoma's freezing temps. Keep a blanket, an ice scraper, jumper cables, a phone charger, snacks and water in your vehicle in case you get stuck.
