Midwest City FD knocks down house fire, pet dies

MIDWEST CITY, Okla. (KFOR) — Firefighters responded to a house fire Wednesday night in Midwest City.
According to Midwest City Fire Department, crews responded to the home in the 400 block of Harr Drive at around 8:10 p.m. on Wednesday.
While on scene, fire crews rescued a pet from inside the home, but were unable to resuscitate despite their efforts, according to the Midwest City Fire Department on social media.
According to officials, the scene was under control and no injuries were reported.
Fire officials said the fire started in the garage and spread into the home. The home is reported as a total loss.
