OKC Public Safety Partnership hosts free Mental Health event May 29

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - OKC Public Safety Partnership is hosting a Mental Health Info session
on May 29 focusing on programs, services and resources in Oklahoma City.

Attendees can expect to hear from mental health experts and community leaders in a panel discussion scheduled:

The event is free and open to the public with session panelists as follows:

• Lori Brown-Loftis, OKCFD Mobile Integrated Healthcare Program Manager
• Lori Osborn, OKCPD Crisis Intervention Team Training Coordinator
• Jessica Hawkins, Healthy Minds Policy Initiative

“Mental health challenges can happen to anyone, and we hope residents will join us to learn more about some of the crucial mental health-related services, programs and resources available through the City and other providers in our community,” said Andrea Grayson, OKC Public Safety Partnership Implementation Manager. “May is recognized nationally as Mental Health Awareness Month, so there is no better time to share with the community the ways we’re working to develop alternative response to 911 calls related to behavioral or mental
health needs like the Oklahoma City Fire Department’s newly launched Mobile Integrated Healthcare.”
