Central Topeka stabbing sends person to the hospital

TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) - One person was sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a stabbing Tuesday evening.

12:37 a.m.

The victim is expected to recover and police are still searching for a suspect, according to Topeka police.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Topeka Police Department or Shawnee County Crime Stoppers.

8:22 p.m.

It happened around 8 p.m. in the 1200 block of Southwest Polk Street.

A Topeka police officer on scene told KSNT News the victim and the suspect knew each other.
