Here's the 2024 Houston Texans schedule
HOUSTON (KIAH) — The Houston Texans will be playing in four primetime games in the 2024 season, including a Christmas Day game against the Baltimore Ravens and a Monday night game against their in-state rival, the Dallas Cowboys.
The 2024 NFL schedule was released on Wednesday, and the Texans are one of the teams that will be featured in several national telecasts, including two Sunday Night Football games and one Monday Night Football game.
Under head coach DeMeco Ryans, the Texans are hoping to build on a successful 2023 campaign that saw them go 10-7 – a seven-win improvement from the 2022 season – and win the AFC South Division championship, along with a win over the Cleveland Browns in the AFC Wild Card round of the playoffs.
The team’s star power is why the Texans are featured in so many primetime games in 2024. Quarterback C.J. Stroud became the team’s heart and soul and was named the AFC Offensive Rookie of the Year. Linebacker Will Anderson Jr. was also named the AFC Defensive Rookie of the Year.
Houston will play a Christmas Day game against Baltimore at NRG Stadium, which is a rematch of last season's AFC Divisional Playoff game which the Ravens beat Houston 34-10 in Baltimore. The game will be broadcasted on Netflix, who reached a three-year deal with the NFL to broadcast Christmas Day games.
