Deputies in L.A. County jails to be equipped with body-worn cameras

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has agreed to outfit the deputies that run its jails with thousands of body-worn cameras, a measure that officials say will increase "transparency and accountability" amid a spike in inmate deaths.
