Prime Day 2025 is here from Tuesday, July 8 to Friday, July 11, and Lifehacker is sharing the best sales based on product reviews, comparisons, and price-tracking tools.
New to Prime Day? We have a primer on everything you need to know. Sales are accurate at the time of publication, but prices and inventory are always subject to change.
I’ve used every major iteration of Apple Watch since the original Series Zero, and I can confidently say the Series 10 is my favorite so far. The screen is big, beautiful, and the watch is so lightweight I now forget that I’m wearing it—which is perfect when tracking my sleep at night.
For Prime Day, Apple Watch Series 10 gets its first deep discount since launch, exclusively for Prime members. I usually see the Series 10 discounts at around $100 off. But right now, Amazon is offering the 40mm model for $279.99, and the 46mm model for $309.99, for multiple case and color options. (My personal favorite is the Jet Black finish with Ink Sport Loop.) That’s a $120 discount for both models.
In my view, the Apple Watch is the best smartwatch for most people—at least those with an iPhone. It’s great for fitness tracking, sleep tracking, and managing notifications. Personally, I enjoy treating the Apple Watch as a minimalist iPhone. I can keep my phone in the other room and can still receive important calls, messages, and notifications. I can even control music on my speakers, without reaching for another device.
On the surface, the Series 10 doesn’t look that different from Series 9, or even Series 8. The differences are subtle, but they add up. The Series 10 has a new design with a larger screen, as well as a thinner and lighter chassis. The Series 10 also charges faster than other Apple Watches (0-80% in 30 minutes instead of 45 minutes).
But for me, the Series 10 is about the little things. I love how the Photos watch face looks on this new display. It shows all my favorite photos of nature, cities, and my wife that I’ve taken over the years. Plus I really enjoy using the built-in speaker for playing music and audiobooks. The double-tap finger gesture is also surprising simple.
Lifehacker associate tech editor Michelle Ehrhardt agrees. In her review, she gave the Apple Watch 4.5 stars out of 5, calling it the “Best Apple Watch for Most People.”
