It's not really a secret I'm a big fan of my Peloton, even five years after the lockdown-fueled boom the at-home fitness giant faced. It's also not really a secret that these devices cost a lot of money, with the standard Peloton Bike retailing for $1,445. Normally, I advocate for buying used ones or seeking out local sales, but right now, thanks to Prime Day, you can get a new one from Amazon for a little cheaper. The Peloton Bike is just $1,083 and other devices from the company are marked down, too.
The big Peloton deals
Here are the Peloton devices that are marked down right now:
Yes, with all four of these, you're still paying no less than four figures, but unlike the other discount options you usually have—like getting a floor model from Dick's Sporting Goods or a used device—these are truly brand new. Saving a few hundred dollars while you improve your fitness routine is a benefit.
Right now, I'm on a 113-day streak of actively using my Peloton Bike and app. I love the ability to hop on my Bike (or the Bike+ I've been testing for review, which I also adore) at the beginning or end of my day to get in a good workout or to use the app to access exercises like guided walks, meditations, stretches, and more.
If you're going to get any device, I recommend staying with the classic Bike. With it, you can choose from thousands of on-demand cycling classes, play fun cardio games, and even watch YouTube. Building an at-home fitness routine is tough, but having access to a Peloton has made is much easier for me. I have no excuse not to work out, even on days I don't really feel like it, because the machine that can help me torch some calories and build my endurance is right there in my living room. I've had mine for over four years and it still runs perfectly, so the longevity on these things is pretty remarkable, not to mention the fact that new classes are released every day, so the novelty doesn't really wear off, either.
