Man and woman arrested after missing family found ‘safe and well’
A family of five which disappeared in Scotland have been found safe and well, police said.
A 32-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman have been arrested and inquiries are ongoing after the shock disappearance.
Officers were looking for 13-year-old girl Bahara Denisa Baci, seven-year-old Shakira Baci, and Umut-yronn Saban, an 11-month-old boy who were last seen in the Captain’s Road area of Edinburgh.
Their parents, Narcisca Baci, 28, and father Serbanica-Ibram Saban, 32, were also unaccounted for.
Officers said: ‘Following our inquiries to locate a family last seen in the Captain’s Road area of Edinburgh on Thursday, January 16, 2025, we are pleased to confirm the family has been traced safe and well.’
