Model attacks three police officers, two bouncers and a woman on night out
A model attacked three police officers, two bouncers and a fellow clubber after drinking for the first time in nine years.
Georgia Brown, 27, was on a night out at a club called Gossip! in Henley, Oxfordshire, when she got into an ‘altercation’ with a female reveller in the smoking area.
She subsequently ‘punched’ two bouncers, kicked two police officers and tried to bite the hand of a third officer, North Staffordshire Justice Centre heard.
Brown, of Chetwynd Street, Smallthorne, was convicted of five counts of assault by beating and one count of common assault.
Representing herself, Brown told magistrates: ‘I have no recollection of anything but I put my hands up to it completely.
‘I’m very sorry to those people, the situation couldn’t have ended up any worse than it did.
‘I hadn’t drunk in nine years and stupidly thought I could handle alcohol, but now I recognise I can’t, and I was stupid to think I could.’
Magistrates handed her a 12-month community order, which includes 60 hours of unpaid work.
She was also ordered to pay a total of £774 in compensation to her six victims.
Magistrate Christopher Rushton said: ‘This was a very despicable evening’s activities, but by your own statements we can see you are sorry for your actions and you have probably learned a very important abstinence lesson
‘A community order will be a part of your sentence but we’re pretty convinced you will turn your life around and rehabilitate. We do not ever expect you to be in this courtroom again.’
