Hunt for man wearing cap and hoody after woman ‘sexually assaulted’ at bus stop
Police want to speak to a man caught on CCTV after a woman was allegedly sexually assaulted at a bus stop.
The victim was approached from behind by a stranger in the Priory Meadow area of Hastings, East Sussex at around 2.15pm on February 12.
The man then ‘sexually assaulted her by touching’, said Sussex Police.
The force has released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to.
A Sussex Police spokesperson said: ‘Officers investigating have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak with in connection with the investigation.
‘He was wearing a red and black chequered overshirt over a black hooded top with white straps, a black baseball cap, beige trousers and a white belt.’
The victim was left shaken by the incident, said police, and received support from specially-trained officers.
