Map shows full list of Homebase stores closing this month
More Homebase branches are set to close their doors for good in the next few days.
Ten branches of the popular DIY store will soon shut, following eight closures earlier this month.
Homebase went into administration in November, but was partially bought up by CDS Superstores, the parent company of The Range and Wilko.
The firm said it planned to rescue up to 70 shops and retain the brand name, although so far it has only confirmed 26 of the branches it’s saving.
In January it re-launched the Homebase website, which offers shoppers a click-and-collect service at Wilko and The Range stores.
The 76 Homebase stores that won’t be rescued by CDS were put up for sale by the administrators Teneo, leaving roughly 2,000 people’s jobs at risk.
Eight of the sites have been bought by rival DIY retailer B&Q, and another five by Wickes, who offer both trade and DIY products.
