Man stabbed to death at home with boy, 16, and woman arrested in Leicester
A man has been stabbed to death at a home in a Leicester cul-de-sac.
The unnamed man was discovered in a house along Oakdale Close in Braunstone Frith, a suburb about two miles west of the city centre.
He was given CPR but was declared dead soon after police arrived at about 10.40pm yesterday.
A woman, 32, and a boy, 16, both remain in custody on suspicion of murder.
While the woman was arrested at the scene, the boy was detained a ‘short time later’, the police said.
Detective Inspector Mike Chandler said: ‘Our investigation into this incident is in its early stages and two people remain under arrest.
‘Support is being provided to the family of the deceased.
‘Officers are carrying out enquiries in the area and I’d ask anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
‘We’re particularly keen to speak to those who saw anyone entering or leaving the property in Oakdale Close and may have captured their movements on CCTV, a doorbell camera or dashcam.’
The force has referred itself to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC), a watchdog, because officers had previously contacted people at the address.
