Basin Creek Reservoir fire contained at 6.7 acres in concern area for fire, water managers

A wildfire within the Basin Creek Watershed Project was discovered Saturday afternoon and firefighters responded to contain the blaze before its spread into timber affected by the mountain pine beetle.
