First Friday to honor Black-owned businesses, artists

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- First Friday in Albany is looking to showcase local black-owned businesses as part of Black History Month. The event on Friday, Feb. 7 will feature art, culture and community as part of the monthly First Friday event.

Participating venues will be showcasing the work of Black artists and creators. Additionally, the Albany Common Council will award members of the community for their contributions to Albany.
