Schenectady man arrested for alleged burglaries
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- State Police arrested a Schenectady man twice for allegedly burglarizing Albany businesses at the end of January. Troopers said Julio Jimenez, 48, is facing multiple charges.
Jimenez is accused of breaking into a closed Swan Street business on the afternoon of January 20, damaging the cash register, stealing money from the register, and leaving on foot.
He also allegedly broke into a closed business on Empire State Plaza on January 23, damaging the cash register and stealing items. Troopers added that they recovered the stolen items when taking Jimenez into custody.
Jimenez was processed at the State Police barracks in the Capital twice and remains in Albany County Jail after his arraignment. Below is a list of the charges Jimenez is facing.
