East Greenbush works to repair water main break

EAST GREENBUSH, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Crews are working to locate a water main break on Elliot Road near the Kensey Apartments. The break has closed traffic between Englewood Ave and Iroquois Place.

Elliot Road properties might experience low or no water pressure until the break is fixed. Town officials said repairing the break takes six hours after locating it.

Officials also said the type of break they are dealing with doesn't require a boil water advisory, but they will update the public if one is needed. Stay with NEWS10 as more information becomes available.
