Coeymans police sergeant loses home in fire
SELKIRK, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A fire on River Road cost a family their home Friday night in Selkirk. Coeymans police said the home belonged to one of their own.
The fire took place just before 5 p.m. north of the Little Red Schoolhouse and Henry Hudson Park. The home belonged to Sgt. Kelly Arnold, her husband, and their three children. They also lost a pet in the fire.
The community has begun to raise money for the family to rebuild.
