Capital Region car wash offers free washes with food donation
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A local car wash is collecting food donations this weekend for 20 Capital Region food pantries in exchange for a free wash. As the holiday season approaches, Hoffman Car Washes is asking community members to bring non-perishable food items to their nearby car wash on October 25 and 26.
Customers who bring a canned food or non-perishable item to any exterior or full-service station will receive a free Ultimate Car Wash. This year, the food collection is supporting food pantries in both the Capital Region and in southern Vermont.

Below are the food pantries that are benefiting from the car wash's fall food drive. Suggested donations include canned meats and fish, peanut butter and jelly, cereal, soup, 100% juice, and jarred sauces.
