EU probes Google for possible ‘anticompetitive’ use of copyrighted material for AI-generated summaries

Google faces a fresh antitrust investigation in Europe for ripping off copyrighted material to train its artificial intelligence models without proper compensation, the European Commission announced on Tuesday.
