Sam Darnold deserves more respect after long journey from Jets failure to ‘special’ Seahawks leader

Darnold lasted only three seasons in green and was an abject failure, in large part because the Jets, desperate for a franchise quarterback, rushed him into the starting lineup instead of methodically developing him and allowing him to grow.
