Canoe and Kayak Photography Tips Presentation
Starting this Friday, November 14th, there’s an online Landscape Photography Summit that I’m part of. I’ll be sharing my Canoe and Kayak Photography Tips at the 2025 Landscape Photography Summit, a free two-week online event featuring a new speaker each day. I attended one earlier this year and watched every session. It was an excellent experience and full of ideas worth revisiting. I’m not 100% certain on which day that my presentation will air, but you’ll get notice if you sign up for the summit.
Presentation: Canoe and Kayak Photography Tips
Whether you’re paddling deep into the wilderness or exploring a nearby lake, chances are you’ll encounter breathtaking sunsets and sweeping landscapes you’ll want to share. Great paddling photos can capture that sense of wonder and help friends and family feel the beauty and adventure of your journey. But photographing from the water isn’t easy. Water and electronics don’t mix, and conditions can change fast. In this presentation, Bryan shares practical tips for keeping your gear safe and dry, working efficiently on the water, and creating compelling images that tell the story of your trip.
As a gift for attending my presentation, I’m giving away my new eBook Kayak & Canoe Photography: A practical guide to keeping your camera safe dry, and ready to shoot on the water.
It gathers together tips that I’ve written here on PaddlingLight and tips from my photography column in the now defunct Ocean Paddler Magazine. Instead of including the full articles, I summarized all the important stuff about keeping your camera safe, dry, and ready to shoot. (Maybe I should gather together all those old articles into one eBook. Thoughts?) Anyway, it’s free if you come to my presentation.
As far as the entire summit, you can tune in for free, or, if you’d like lifetime access to the recordings, you can upgrade to VIP for $97. Either way, I hope you’ll join me. The summit starts on November 14th.

I hope that you are able to come. If you don’t want to watch the presentation but would like to get a copy of the eBook, you can get it here: Kayak & Canoe Photography eBook.
