Holiday Train Show returns to New York Botanical Garden: How to get tickets
THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — It's beginning to look a lot like the holiday season in New York City.
Before you fire up those chestnuts or fill your tree with lights, why not spend some time surrounded by nature in a magical train extravaganza?
The ever-popular Holiday Train Show returns to the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx next week, running through the middle of January.
From landmark replicas to fresh and exciting miniature train models, the Holiday Train Show has a ton of variety— and some new attractions for the 2025-2026 holiday season.
New this year is a "miniature masterpiece": a botanical replica of the recently-renovated Delacorte Theater, home to Shakespeare in the Park. The model was made from wood gathered in forests near the Applied Imagination studio in Kentucky, according to NYBG.
Holiday Train Nights from 7 to 10 p.m. on select nights offer up after-dark celebrations for adults to drink seasonally-appropriate cocktails and mocktails while basking in the warmth of the show.
There are also offerings for kids and sensory-friendly experiences.
