Ollie Morgan with his sponsors Torq have released a short film titled "Blueprint of an Olympian" where they explore what it means for him to have reached the pinnacle of the sport.

It wasn’t the World Championships the British team was hoping for, or indeed the one we all expected with a haul of only 2 medals in Singapore. There is a lot of context to be applied, with illness a significant factor for a number of teams, but there were plenty of high points for Steve Bob and Katie to look back on, including another world title for the men’s 4x200 freestyle and a superb British Record from Freya Colbert.

It was 2010 when Great Britain last had a man ranked in the top three in the world in the 100m backstroke in the shape of Liam Tancock. Not that the next man to achieve that feat would have known, because Ollie Morgan wasn't watching. Now he's heading to a second world championships with the podium in mind.

World Aquatics today loaded individual event entries on to the World Championships site and gave us a first look at what the British team will be swimming in Singapore.

It wasn't quite all everyone was talking about at the British Championships, but the announcement that 50m form events would be added to the programme for the 2028 Olympics was certainly on the mind of many of Britain's top swimmers. If you’re the reigning world champion and have just finished fourth in the Olympics, a finger tip away from the podium then it might be expected that you’d be back chasing success in that event the following season. But for Freya Colbert a change is as good as a rest in 2025, even if the 400IM remains on her programme for the World Championships.

Following the conclusion of the Aquatics GB Championships last weekend, Aquatics GB have now confirmed a team of 28 who will compete at the World Championships in Singapore in the summer, with six discretionary picks added to the 22 who were selected directly.

It was quite the week in London at the 2025 Aquatics GB Swimming Championships as we saw two British Records, plenty of close racing and a closing event with drama that just couldn't be predicted. That means plenty for Steve Katie and Bob to mull over, we hear from some of the top performers of the week including record setters Ollie Morgan and Angharad Evans and breakout star Jacob Mills.

When Ollie Morgan touched the wall in the 100m Backstroke at the British Championships last week he had smashed the British Record and his time of 52.12 had elevated him to becoming the 13th fastest man all time. It was a swim that rightly took all the plaudits but behind him there was a wave coming, one that speaks to an increasing depth in British men’s backstroke.
