'It's a simple yes or no': MSNBC host calls out ex-Biden press secretary in interview
"It's a simple yes or no," said MSNBC's Ayman Mohyeldin as he confronted a former Biden press secretary in a confrontational interview.
Karine Jean-Pierre, former White House Press Secretary to then-President Joe Biden, appeared on MSNBC on Saturday for what some saw as a surprisingly snippy conversation with a host.
At one point, Mohyeldin asks, "Do you have any regrets for anything you said while speaking on behalf of this administration?"
"I'm, look---" she began before the host cut in with, "It's a simple yes or no."
Jean-Pierre begins her reply with, "You're asking for a yes or no question; I want to put some context to it, too. I woke up every day very proud to be the White House press secretary. I woke up every day as a Black woman who is queer, who no one had ever seen someone like me at that podium standing behind that lectern. It was an honor and a privilege to do that job."
