Lakers Will Have LeBron James and Jared Dudley in Their Lineup Sunday
When most players are using the final regular-season game to rest, LeBron James uses it as a tune-up. James played yesterday against the Indiana Pacers and will also be suiting up tonight, on the second night of a back-to-back when the Los Angeles Lakers wrap up the regular season against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Tonight’s contest will be only King James’ fourth game since he suffered a high-ankle sprain against the Atlanta Hawks on March 20. Dave McMenamin confirmed that Jared Dudley would be returning to action Sunday, and Anthony Davis remains a game-time decision.

James’ fantasy impact has been limited since he returned to action. He’s averaged 19.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 7.0 assists in the three games he’s been back, which equates to 37.3 FanDuel Fantasy Points per game, nearly 10.0 points off his season average. There’s not much standing between James and a monster performance on Sunday, as most New Orleans Pelicans starters are out with injuries. That makes his $10,100 salary the after-hours slate more palatable.
Dudley has been a reserve player for the Lakers this season, appearing in 11 games and averaging 6.9 minutes a contest. He remains a depth player that shouldn’t be considered on DFS rosters.
The Lakers are eight-point road favorites against the floundering Pelicans.
