Heat to Rest Starters Versus Pistons

Most NBA teams with nothing left to prove are electing to rest their starters on the final day of the regular season, and the Miami Heat are no different. The Heat are locked into the sixth spot regardless of the outcome tonight, and they are using that as an opportunity to sit most of their starters against the Detroit Pistons.

The only regular in the starting lineup is Duncan Robinson, while Jimmy Butler, Trevor Ariza, Bam Adebayo, Kendrick Nunn are all being held out. Butler, Nunn, and Adebayo are nursing injuries while Ariza is just getting the night off to rest. Marc Stein reported that Goran Dragic and Andre Iguodala would also be unavailable for the Heat.

That leaves Miami with a skeleton crew of a lineup. Tyler Herro figures to start at point guard, with KZ Okpala, Dewayne Dedmon, and Nemanja Bjelica all drawing in.
