The Philadelphia 76ers have nothing left to gain on Sunday and are sitting their entire starting rotation. Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris, Danny Green, and Seth Curry are all dealing with various injuries and were given the night off against the Orlando Magic.

The 76ers have already guaranteed themselves the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference and home-court advantage until the NBA Finals. It wasn’t worth the risk of aggravating any of their injuries in their regular-season finale. As noted by Austin Krell, Matisse Thybulle is also getting the night off.
Based on the 76ers depth chart, we should expect Dwight Howard, Mike Scott, and Furkan Korkmaz to start in the frontcourt, leaving George Hill and Shake Milton to handle backcourt duties. It’s worth noting that Korkmaz and Milton are both listed as game-time decisions, but if both are absent, that will leave the 76ers below the league minimum of eight players. We should expect to see both players cleared to play, although how much playing time they get remains to be seen.
