After bottoming out in 2021-22, the Philadelphia Flyers have slowly been building themselves back up. Last season didn’t go very well thanks to awful goaltending and a horrific power play which has plagued them for many seasons, but Philadelphia has bounced back this season (notwithstanding an ugly January slump), however, it remains on the outside of the playoff picture as it seeks its first postseason appearance since 2019-20.

Last season was a step back for Purdue as it slipped to 24 wins and lost in the regional semifinals, but the school has bounced back so far this season. After an amazing 17-1 start, the Boilermakers hit a skid recently, dropping three straight conference games before rebounding with a convincing win over Maryland then surviving a scare against Oregon on Saturday.

Welcome to our annual Top 100 Fantasy Baseball Prospects rankings. This is Year No. 22 of this exercise, and as per usual, is a snapshot of how we perceive these prospects prior to Opening Day.

With the Super Bowl just days away, it’s a fascinating exercise to speculate about who will emerge as the hero of the big game. Traditionally, the MVP is an offensive player, but every now and then a defensive star dominates and is actually recognized for his efforts.

Houston demolished Pittsburgh in the Wild Card game before shooting itself in the foot with five turnouts to lose to the eventual AFC Champion, New England.

He remains intriguing because of his dynamic rushing ability, but as a passer? Well, until Fields proves he can perform on a consistent basis, his opportunities may be extremely limited. At this point, he's barely a top 35 QB for Dynasty formats.

Two seasons ago, the South Dakota Coyotes hit rock bottom with a mere 12 wins, but bounced back to 19 victories a year ago. Unfortunately, the traction gained hasn’t held as South Dakota got off to an 0-2 start, and despite turning things around with a 5-1 run, has gone 6-8 since, including a 3-4 mark in Summit League play.

Back in 2022-23, the Alabama A&M Bulldogs seemed to be making progress, winning 15 times for its highest total since 2004-05 – the only season the school has made the NCAA tourney. However, it’s been downhill since as Alabama A&M dropped to a dozen wins the following season and then just 10 last season.

Since finishing 21 games over .500 back in 2018-19, it’s been nearly all downhill for the Louisiana State Tigers. The team showed modest improvement in 2023-24, but the regression continued last season when they won just 14 games, missing the tournament for a third straight time.

Two years ago – in just its fourth season of existence – the Tarleton State Texans basketball program erupted for 25 wins, but was unable to maintain that success, dropping to a mere dozen victories last year in its worst season yet.
