Fen Edge Voices Community Choir

For those who haven’t been keeping up, my old choir, bigMouth/TyrannoChorus finally disbanded after 18 years of singing together. We’d performed everywhere from The Fen Edge Festival and the Royal Albert Hall by way of Abbey Road Studios as well as lots of local events in churches, schools, and even hotels and care residence.

We’d done workshops with John Rutter and Pete Churchill. We supported the London Community Gospel Choir three times over the years. We also sold out West Road Concert Hall five times and raised a lot of money for various charities.

Anyway, I kickstarted a new choir to fill the musical pause and recruited a Musical Director and helped pull together a team who have taken on a lot of important roles in the new choir; I’m managing the web and media stuff, and various other things, obvs. We call ourselves Fen Edge Voices.

Mrs Sciencebase came up with the choir name after I’d initially suggested Fen Edge Community Choir (FECC!), so we are FEV, instead, which is much more sublime, you must admit.

Anyway, I wanted a new nickname for myself in this new choir…behold:
