Butterflies of 2026

The first butterflies of the year appeared on 23rd February, a Peacock, in our garden. On the 24th, two Brimstone fluttered through.

I will update this post as and when. Hoping to see an early Orange Tip in March. I recorded the first UK sighting of that species on 17th March in 2024, Broad Lane, Cottenham, Cambs.
