Drea de Matteo Confirms the Unexpected Way Her Teen Son Contributes to Her OnlyFans Account
In a recent appearance on the Not Today, Pal podcast, Drea de Matteo opened up to hosts Robert Iler and Jamie-Lynn Sigler about the state of her OnlyFans account: Where things stand, how things might change, and who helps her along the way. And it turns out her teen son is actually a big contributor.
The Sopranos alum shares a 13-year-old son Waylon “Blackjack” and 16-year-old daughter Alabama with ex Shooter Jennings, and the two were sitting on the other side of the door while the podcast was being recorded.
“Before you start, your son was outside saying he edits your OnlyFans photos,” Iler told de Matteo.
“Oh yeah. He’s like, ‘So what do you want me to do with the bikini line here?’” she confirmed, per People.
Wow! That’s quite an interesting mother-son relationship. Given Reign Disick’s reaction to seeing his mom Kourtney Kardashian kiss stepdad Travis Barker, we don’t think many sons would be willing to contribute in that way.
Although maybe their relationship is more akin to the relationship between Elizabeth Hurley and her son Damian. In March, Hurley got candid about what it was like to have her son direct her sex scenes in Strictly Confidential. “Having him there meant that I felt safe and looked after,” she said. ” … Actually it’s kind of liberating working with your family.”
Anywho! Apparently there is a line that de Matteo draws between her and her kids when it comes to OnlyFans. And it’s not the bikini line.
“They don’t see the [girl-on-girl] shots. But I do go over that with them before I ever put them out,” the mom of two said. “I was like, ‘Are you OK with this?’”
Last year, de Matteo told Fox News that she only joined OnlyFans once she was sure her kids were OK with it and that she did it with their best interests in mind.
“My kids were the ones that were like, ‘Do it.’ [Alabama will] edit the pictures too because they want certain things that we haven’t been able to do,” she said.
“I used to have a lot of money. And then, all of a sudden, I went from being allowed to work to never being allowed to work again. I was never the kind of actor that took jobs just to stay in the business. I literally took jobs to feed my family.”
The actress then addressed the “nasty comments” that people have made about her decision to join OnlyFans. “My response is, ‘Damn straight, I hope you’re never in the f*cking position I’m in. I take care of an entire family and a lot of other people who depend on me.'” And her kids apparently help her do it.
