Andrew East’s Sweet Birthday Tribute Proves His Adventurous Son Jett Has the Best Fashion Sense
Andrew East and Shawn Johnson’s son Jett is officially a “three-nager!” And his mom and dad have posted the sweetest tributes to mark the little guy’s third birthday. East made the most heart-warming compilation of videos of his secondborn throughout the years, and it says so much about the little guy’s personality and style.
“Today is a special day,” the retired NFL player captioned the video that was set to George Strait’s “The Best Day.”
The video is full of shots that perfectly showcase how adventurous he is. There’s a clip of him riding his bike (which he learned how to ride without training wheels at just 2 years old), one of him jumping from a tall ledge onto a giant pillow in what must be their playroom, and one of him standing on a rocking horse. He also seems to frequent his parents’ home gym, lifting kiddie weights and attacking a mini punching bag.
As for his fashion sense … Jett James East is hardly ever wearing pants. Only diapers for that kid! And it’s downright hilarious. Around the house, he hangs out in a top and a diaper (and maybe cowboy boots for extra pizazz!). In the backyard, he once walked around in only a diaper and a motorcycle-style helmet. He even went to the grocery store and sat in the shopping cart wearing just a Cars T-shirt and a diaper.
If that’s not peak toddler fashion, we don’t know what is.
Johnson also posted a touching tribute to Jett that opens with a picture of her big guy posing on his bike. As the carousel of photos continues, we see more of the little guy’s sweet and silly sides including one of him looking too stinkin’ cute with a T-Rex painted on his face. One fan called Jett the “coolest little dude EVER,” and we have to agree.
“Jett James …. Happy 3rd Birthday my sweet boy. I love you so much it hurts ????????,” the Olympic gold medalist captioned her post.
East and Johnson also share their 4-year-old daughter Drew and infant son Bear. The family of five is headed to Paris where Johnson will be covering the Olympics, and it would feel perfectly on-brand if Jett somehow snuck his way onto a balance beam or posed in front of the Eiffel Tower in a beret and diaper.
