Drew Scott’s Toddler Son Parker Is the Cutest ‘Driver’ in a New Video & His Little Voice Is So Sweet
Drew Scott is used to working with his twin brother Jonathan Scott on their many HGTV series, so it’s no surprise that he’s putting his son Parker to work, too. The Property Brothers co-host shared the cutest new video of his 2-year-old’s new job: driving him around!
In the sweet clip, Parker “drives” his dad’s car. “Hired a new driver ????,” Scott wrote over the video on Instagram. The toddler is dressed in a black t-shirt and tan pants with black hearts. He’s wearing black sneakers on his small feet that barely reach past the edge of the seat — nowhere near the pedals.
With one hand on the steering wheel, Parker looks over at the attached screen and raises his other hand to sing along to Baby Shark. His little hand moves up and down like a chomping shark, truly living his best life.
“What’cha doing?” Scott asks his son. “Are you driving?” Parker dances and wiggles around in the cute video. Now it’s time for “Mommy Shark doo doo doo doo,” so Parker takes his hand off the wheel and uses both arms to move up and down along to the music. He replies to his dad with something unintelligible, before clicking something else on the screen to play a different, up-tempo version of the song.
“It’s a silly one!” he exclaims in his tiny voice, and oh my goodness, he is so cute. “New driver. Questionable music choices #babyshark #parenthood,” Scott captioned the post.
Parker’s uncle Jonathan commented, “And already he’s a better driver than you ????,” Someone else wrote, “Aww! So darn cute and adorable!”
Earlier this week, Scott revealed that his son does a special kind of preschool in a blog interview on the twins’ website. “Instead of sending Parker to preschool, we created a portable classroom with some of Parker’s friends, and were able to recreate the same fun activities,” the Backed by the Bros star, who shares Parker and daughter Piper, 2 months, with wife Linda Phan, said. “Music has been a joy for Parker, as well as building. Oh, and dance! Parker loves to dance.” (And he clearly loves to drive, too!)
Last month, Drew shared a sweet post of his son in action. He’s sitting on the ground, building towers with magnetic tiles. “Property Brother in the making,” he captioned the adorable photo.
