Halle Berry’s Plunging Look for Her First Red Carpet Appearance in Six Months Shows Her Daring Mindset for 2026

Halle Berry hasn’t made a red carpet appearance since June 2025, and we’ve been waiting for her to return. While she’s made appearances here and there, we miss her red carpet magic (and her latest appearance proves she’s starting 2026 on a daring note)!

In case you missed it, Berry made an ultra-rare red carpet appearance to the UK gala screening of Crime 101, where she plays an insurance broker named Sharon Colvin, alongside Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, and Monica Barbaro. Held at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square on January 28, 2026 in London, England, fans couldn’t take their eyes off of Berry. See the photos below:

In the photos, we see Berry looks drop dead gorgeous in a plunging black and bejeweled look from The New Arrivals, along with a black ADAM LIPPES Emrys Coat⁠ (not pictured), styled by Maryam Malakpour. She paired the look with black pumps by ANDREA WAZEN, as well as vintage jewels by FOR FUTURE REFERENCE and Excalibur Jewelry.

As for her hair, she rocked curtain bangs and a swooping highlights look done by Sinaïa Campora nd got a natural, smokey eye makeup look by Kara Yoshimoto Bua, who primarily used Chanel to complete the look!

Truly, she looks amazing on this rare red carpet moment, and we can’t wait for more of her 2026 looks planned.

Now, like we said: she’s a confident superstar. And in a previous interview with Good Housekeeping, the Oscar-winning actress talked about how she overcame body confidence issues by focusing on her inner self.

“We are all so much more than these beautiful bodies that we walk around in. Just work on the internal you and the things you can control,” she said.“We can’t control how we come here and what we look like and what walk of life we’re born into. But we can control what we think about things. We can control what we read. We can control what we put out, what we give, what we allow ourselves to take in.”
