Well in amongst the incredulous reactions, I'll just say congratulations to Simone and her newly expanding family.

Regardless of football contracts or whether the game's gone, a loved child coming into the world is never anything other than a blessing.

And presumably all clubs employing female athletes have these sort of things arranged in contracts, so I imagine the club were eyes wide open for if this was to ever happen
