Tengrinews.kz - Several districts in Almaty were left without heat due to a burst pipeline, which was put into operation in 1984.
The accident occurred on December 23 on the heating main in the Medeu district along Nazarbayev Avenue. According to the emergency service of LLP "Almaty heat networks," the damage occurred due to wear of the pipeline.
The company's press service reported that due to the damage, heat supply was limited for consumers in the area of ​​Satpayev - Dostyk, Taimanova streets, as well as the Samal 1, 2, and 3 microdistricts.

"The repair and construction service of LLP 'ALTS' is working on promptly eliminating the damage, the expected time for restoring heat supply is until 1 AM on December 24," the statement said.
