Almost 40 foreigners detained at Kazakhstan border

Tengrinews.kz – NSC Border Service recorded 1248 cases of illegal movement across the state border in January.
According to the agency, 3785 violators of Kazakhstan legislation were detained in the border area, including:

for border violation – 27 foreign citizens;for attempted border violation – 12 foreign citizens.

1248 cases of illegal movement across the state border were prevented, including:

drugs with a total weight of over 7 kilograms;precursors for the production of synthetic drugs - 1 fact, total weight - over 1285 kilograms;weapons, ammunition - 113 facts (5 units of deactivated, 1 unit of firearms, 25 units of pneumatic, 152 - bladed weapons, 105 ammunition, 21 stun guns);religious literature - 30 facts (728 copies);fuel and lubricants - 462 facts (more than 35 thousand liters) for a total of over 18 million tenge;consumer goods - 491 facts for a total of over 3.1 billion tenge;currencies - 115 facts for a total of over 1.4 billion tenge.

29 cases of poaching in the Caspian Sea were stopped, and the following were seized:

16 floating craft;17.4 kilometers of poaching nets;139 sturgeon fish (500 kilograms);the amount of damage prevented was about 196 million tenge.

Materials on these facts have been sent to law enforcement and judicial authorities to hold the violators accountable.
No restrictive measures have been introduced at the state border, all checkpoints are operating normally.
Earlier, a fight between foreigners and resorts employees in Shymbulak was caught on video. The video has spread on social networks.
As it became known, one of the guests did not like that he had to wait a long time for the cashier, who was busy at that time. At some point, the verbal conflict with the employee escalated into a physical clash on the street. The employees called the police.
