The classic recipe for Nauryz Kozhe includes dairy products, grains, and meat. Based on the latest figures from the Bureau of National Statistics, here are the current average prices of key ingredients across the country:
Kefir (2.5%) – 446 tenge per liter
Milk (2.5%) – 413 tenge per liter
Pearl barley – 399 tenge per kilogram (lowest price in Kokshetau – 283 tenge per kilogram)
Rice – 639 tenge per kilogram (cheapest in Shymkent – 535 tenge per kilogram)
Horse meat – 3,098 tenge per kilogram
