I Want a Friendship Like Al Pacino and Robert De Niro’s

Does anything seem cozier than being squeezed in a hug between actors Al Pacino and Robert De Niro? What about if they were both wearing extremely puffy jackets on a cold New York day? That’s Moncler’s latest campaign for you, titled “Warmer Together.”

Actors Pacino and De Niro have been friends for more than 50 years and have starred in four blockbuster movies together: The Godfather Part II, Heat, The Irishman, and Righteous Kill. Shot in New York, the campaign uses the actors’ friendship onscreen and off- to illustrate the power of warmth that comes from inside. (It doesn’t hurt that they’re wearing thick jackets on the outside too.)

To accompany “Warmer Together,” artist and Moncler ambassador Tobe Nwigwe, together with his wife, Fat, have recorded a new rendition of Bill Withers’ classic track Lean on Me. And starting Wednesday, you can shop the Warmer Together collection — which includes a perfectly cropped baby-blue puffer and a beanie that has a hood on it — with a wave of films and behind-the-scenes moments to come in the days to follow.
