Alana Hadid Is Married
Alana Hadid, model and creative director of Watermelon Pictures, a production company highlighting Palestinian stories, is officially married. On October 18 she wed Ross Williams, a television producer who now works in the mental health sector. The two found each other on a dating app and met for the first time over an 8 a.m. coffee. She tells Vogue the pair spoke for two hours and she knew “right away” that Williams would be her husband.
The wedding was held at the home of her father, real-estate mogul Mohamed Hadid, in Los Angeles. Her bridesmaids included her famous sisters, Gigi and Bella Hadid — who went barefoot and carried small bouquets as they made their way down the aisle — along with her maid-of-honor Marielle Hadid and “man-of-honor” Anwar Hadid. The bridesmaids all wore green dresses while the bride wore a vintage Vivienne Westwood gown sourced by Tab Vintage.
Williams proposed to Hadid in 2024 with a trillion-cut amethyst ring that belonged to his mother, Janet. “He was very thoughtful, and spoke to his mother and my mother and a lot of people to try to figure out what was the right ring,” the bride told Vogue. “He knew I love vintage, and that I would love something that’s part of his family history, [rather] than something from a random jewelry store.”
At the reception, the couple served drinks from Palestinian-American brands, including an espresso and matcha bar by Mokafe and cola drinks by Drink Palestina. “Especially with what’s going on in the world right now and what’s happening in Palestine, it was extremely important to make sure that everyone was keeping in their mind the fact that there are people in the world who are suffering,” Hadid said. Congrats to the happy couple!
