Hailey Bieber’s Erewhon Smoothie Is No More
In June 2022, Hailey Bieber and Erewhon came together to create the Hailey Bieber Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie, a pink “skin-supporting” concoction launched in tandem with the model’s skin-care line, Rhode, and sold for $17. Three years and a $3 price increase later, the drink is still on the menu — but now, according to the Los Angeles Times, without Bieber’s name attached.
Although Erewhon has not made a public announcement about dropping the beauty founder’s name, the Times reports that “Hailey Bieber” has been absent from the smoothie’s name since at least October 17. “Page Six” seems to have gotten the answer from a cashier: “Her contract ended, so we can’t say Hailey Bieber,” the worker told the outlet. The employee added that the smoothie still has the same ingredients and “the spirit of Hailey,” if that’s something that matters to you.
Since Bieber’s smoothie was introduced, Erewhon has partnered with more celebrities to create drinks, including Lori Harvey, Kourtney Kardashian, Katy Perry, and Nara Smith. But through it all, Bieber’s was the top seller with 40,000 orders per month, the chain’s executive vice-president Tony Antoci told GQ in 2023. Back in May, Bieber told Vogue that she drank one of her signature strawberry smoothies every day, adding that “it’s probably 90 percent of the reason why my skin looks the way it does.” The other 10 percent is probably her Peptide Glazing Milk.
