Kathy Hilton’s and Sutton Stracke’s Homes Were Burglarized
The list of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars who have been robbed is already longer than you might expect, and this past weekend two more cast members were added. The homes of both Kathy Hilton and Sutton Stracke were burglarized on Saturday while they attended BravoCon in Las Vegas, per TMZ.
According to the outlet, Stracke’s dog walker called 911 on Saturday afternoon to report a broken window in the kitchen. Cops arrived and took a report, but it’s unclear if anything was stolen, per TMZ. That same evening, Rick Hilton, Kathy’s husband, called 911 and said there were three burglars inside his home. A source close to the situation told TMZ that Rick was home during the break-in but wasn’t harmed. Once again, it’s unclear whether or not the robbers made away with anything from the Hilton home.
While this situation certainly seems scary (especially for Rick), TMZ made sure to note that both Stracke and Hilton still appeared at BravoCon on Sunday. A contract is a contract.
The elephant in the room is that these are not the first RHOBH cast members to get robbed. In 2017, Kyle Richards’s home was broken into while she and her family were in Aspen, and the thieves got away with more than $1 million worth of luxury goods. Perhaps most famously, Dorit Kemsley was robbed at gunpoint in 2021, when three burglars stole $1 million worth of jewelry and bags. About a year later, Kemsley had $10,000 in cash stolen from her after she left her handbag in a shopping cart. Earlier this year, former cast member Lisa Rinna said that she and husband Harry Hamlin were once robbed three times in six weeks, although it’s unclear when those incidents happened. And, of course, there was that time Tom Girardi’s house was broken into.
So what is Andy Cohen’s plan to help these women stop getting burglarized? Maybe ADT should start offering a special level of protection with Beverly Hills Housewives in mind, one that includes indestructible windows and those lasers from Entrapment. At the bare minimum, Bravo could invest in some scary guard dogs for these women.
