Kayla Nicole Says She’s Done Dating Athletes
It’s been quite a month for Kayla Nicole. On Monday, she appeared on professional reality-TV star Harry Jowsey’s podcast Boyfriend Material to discuss her fitness business and dating life, among other things. Somehow, Jowsey’s side-gig as part-owner of a Los Angeles rugby team came up in conversation, and that appeared to pique Nicole’s interest.
“Do you have any more owner friends?” she asked. “I keep saying I don’t want to date any more athletes, but I’m down to date the owners of the teams.” Jowsey seemingly gestured to himself as being available for her to date, but he appears to be in the midst of filming Let’s Marry Harry, a Bachelor-style dating show for Netflix. You can’t win ‘em all.
Nicole just so happens to have already dated a very famous athlete: Kansas City Chiefs Player Travis Kelce. They were together on and off between 2017 and 2022, but after he started dating Taylor Swift in 2023 the public — and the Swifties — started paying close attention to her every move, including dissecting her Halloween costume that may or may not have been a dig at the football player.
Besides owning a sports team, Nicole also says her prospective suitors need to have a job, integrity, and ambition. “You have something to do besides bugging me all day,” she said. Fair!
