Louis C.K. Has Found Someone Who Wants to Date Him
Louis C.K. continues to be living proof that “cancel culture” does not really mean anything. If it did, we probably would not have heard anything from C.K. following the 2017 New York Times report about his self-professed penchant for masturbating in front of women without their consent. Instead, he has since embarked on several massively successful comedy tours, won a Grammy, and published his debut novel with Simon & Schuster.
Anyway, it appears he’s now found love.
On Monday, the Daily Mail published photos of the comedian kissing costume designer and producer Mimi O’Donnell (“devouring” was how the tabloid put it) on the streets of New York. The paparazzi caught several intimate moments between C.K. and O’Donnell, who were kissing and smiling on a West Village sidewalk while walking his dog.
O’Donnell was the late Phillip Seymour Hoffman’s longtime partner. While they never got married, O’Donnell and Hoffman were together for 15 years and had three children together, including the actor Cooper Hoffman. According to the Daily Mail, this is her first public relationship since Hoffman’s death in 2014. O’Donnell has worked as a costume designer and producer, most recently serving as Spotify’s head of scripted fiction.
Well, it looks like they’re having a great time together. C.K. is doing stand-up shows at the Beacon Theatre on Tuesday and Wednesday, which gives them the opportunity to take date night uptown. Sounds … romantic?
