SHOCKING VIDEO Shows Violent Mob Of Young Thugs Brutally Beating, Stomping on Pregnant Mom With Sickle Cell Anemia While Trying To Protect Her Bullied Son on Chicago’s South Side

Carshawnda Hatter, a 33-year-old mom suffering from sickle cell anemia, was walking her children home from the Orville Bright Elementary School on the South Side of Chicago, when a mob of young children surrounded her and her two children.

Footage that’s been viewed millions of times on social media shows a large group of school-aged children, many wearing backpacks, trailing a mother and her two young children along a sidewalk while taunting them. As the group closes in, they surround the family and continue hurling insults. Off-camera, one student appears to strike Hatter’s son, triggering a rapid escalation. Moments later, several students swarm Hatter and her child, knocking them to the ground and repeatedly punching and stomping them.

According to the mother, her 9-year-old son has been bullied for the past two years by kids from school. It’s not clear if these are the same kids who’ve been repeatedly bullying him.

In the horrific video that we are warning, is difficult to watch, the group of young thugs can be seen encouraging some of the bigger kids to go after the mom, who is desperately shielding her 9-year-old son from becoming a victim of a potential violent attack. One of the larger-sized kids can be seen moving in on the mom and begins punching her repeatedly, as she continues to try to shield her son. The group of young thugs is then able to separate the mom and her son as they violently throw her to the ground and begin taking turns punching and stomping the young pregnant mom as she lies on the ground. Only seconds later, the kids can be seen violently beating the 9-year-old boy as his little sister is forced to watch in horror at the grotesque scene. It’s hard to imagine how she felt watching this animal-like behavior of these children attacking her mom and big brother while she stood alone.

Because of their serious injuries, the pregnant Carshawnda Hatter and her 9-year-old son were hospitalized. She also suffers from sickle cell anemia, which heightened the danger of the attack. Hatter says prior to the attack, she had raised concerns with Orville school administrators about the ongoing harassment.

A GoFundMe account started by Carshawnda Hatter has already raised over $27,000 for the family. Hopefully, it will help them to move out of the neighborhood and start a new life for her and her children.

The eyewitness tells a group of concerned citizens that these kids are always causing trouble and then asks if they heard about the woman who was set on fire on the L-train in Chicago yesterday. Meanwhile, the child who threw the first punch at the mom can be seen sitting next to her mother, who is prompting her to apologize for her actions:
