Pressure continues to be turned up on Daniel Levy

It seems like Levy is under more pressure at the moment than he has been at any point since he took over as the club’s chairman back in 2001.

Tottenham’s travelling fans at St Mary’s unveiled banners calling for Levy to leave and kept chanting against the 62-year-old throughout the game, and even after the final whistle.

It does not appear as if the pressure on Levy is going to be lifted anytime soon, with Spurs supporters now reportedly planning to up the ante.

Tottenham fans plan protests against Daniel Levy

GiveMeSport reveal that many Spurs fans are set to voice their anger at Levy‘s long-term ownership in the upcoming home games.

The report reveals that chants and balloons have been prepared for the same, with the supporters trying to tune up the heat on the chairman over the coming weeks in an effort to get him out of the club.

Some supporters groups have reportedly printed balloons with the text, “L£vy Out” onto them, which could be released in the club’s upcoming Carabao Cup clash against Manchester United.

Tottenham fans are also organising a peaceful protest on December 22 to voice their feelings.

Levy is not going to walk away from Tottenham

If supporters think they can get Levy or ENIC to walk away from the club with some protests, they are quite naive. The club’s current owners will not leave unless there is a sufficiently large enough offer to buy Tottenham from them.

However, that is not to say that these protests are pointless as keeping up the pressure on the Spurs chairman may help him realise that he cannot get away with failing to back Ange Postecoglou.
