Tottenham vs Liverpool Team News – Udogie on bench
The Tottenham Hotspur starting eleven which will face Liverpool this afternoon has been named by Ange Postecoglou.
Tottenham take on Liverpool in the Premier League
On Thursday, Tottenham’s 4-3 victory over Manchester United saw them set up a Carabao Cup semi-final against Liverpool where the winners will face one of Arsenal or Newcastle United in the final.
Despite the cup victory, the attention shifts back to the Premier League today with Spurs looking to secure successive victories, while Liverpool are seeking their first win in two league outings.
Postecoglou is once again without both of his first-choice central defenders with Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven still sidelined, while Rodrigo Bentancur serves the seventh and final match of his domestic suspension.
Guglielmo Vicario, Wilson Odobert and Richarlison remain out through injury, along with Mikey Moore who still is not ready to feature following his illness despite having returned to training earlier this week.
Destiny Udogie missed the win against Manchester United as a result of the quadricep injury he sustained in the second half of Tottenham’s 5-0 win over Southampton.
