Dejan Kulusevski went to school with one Manchester United attacker
Manchester United winger Amad Diallo has sent a message to Dejan Kulusevski on social media, revealing something about the pair’s relationship that not many would have known.
A 4-3 thriller that shouldn’t have been
While the Carabao Cup quarterfinal between Tottenham and Man Utd would have been an extremely entertaining affair for neutrals, Spurs fans would have been pulling their hair out at what they witnessed in the second half.
After building a three-goal lead, the home side inexplicably gifted two goals to Rubem Amorim’s men through howlers from Fraser Forster, thus leading to an extremely nervy final half-hour.
Amad Diallo, who started on the bench and came on for Antony 10 minutes after the interval, was one of the goalscorers, netting United’s second goal after the Tottenham goalkeeper took too long on the ball.

In the end, Spurs emerged 4-3 winners, thus knocking the Red Devils out and sealing a place in the final four of the competition.
Dejan Kulusevski was arguably Tottenham’s best player on the night, being a constant nuisance for the United defence all game and getting on the scoresheet at the start of the second half.
Diallo took to social media after the game to send a message to the Swede, with the United man revealing that the pair go back a long way.
His message on Instagram stories reads: “Same school, same class, playing together at Atalanta. Always a pleasure to see you again Deki.”
Carabao Cup has now taken huge importance for Spurs
With Tottenham under-performing in the Premier League and falling away a bit in the Europa League over recent weeks, the Carabao Cup has suddenly acquired huge significance for Spurs.
While getting past Liverpool over two ties will be extremely hard, there is no doubt that Ange Postecoglou will now be prioritising those two games as he aims to keep up his record of always winning trophies in his second season.
